Nurturing Dreams and Embracing Joy with Lynne Rodgers

Today's blog centers around a fascinating woman from Chilliwack, BC, whose life is a beautiful tapestry woven with love, family, and a zest for the artistic.

❤️ Role Models:  Did you have any older female role models when you were younger?

Yes, many. Of course my mom, both my grandmas, two special Aunts and  two great aunts.  I was fortunate to have so many wonderful women in my life.

❤️ Joyful Moments:  What brings you absolute joy?

Spending time with my  grandchildren is so awesome. I love being with my kids and my husband. My dogs are a constant source of  joy for me as well.

❤️ Capturing Timeless Beauty:  Why are beautiful photos important to you right now?

Beautiful photos are important as they capture moments in time of special people and places.

❤️ The Essence of Being:  How would you like people to describe you or see you? What do you most want people to remember about you?

Hmm. Well I hope that people would describe me as a thoughtful, kind person with a sense of humour, intelligence and a creative mind.

❤️ Dreams and Goals:  What can you share about any dreams, goals or projects you're working on?

I’m always working on my art, my dog training and my health. My dream is that my family is happy, loved and comfortable in their lives.

❤️ A Journey in Education:  Tell me a bit about your business/line of work? Is there anything else you’d like to share about your career?

I graduated from SFU in 1993 at  42. I was a teacher, head teacher, vice principal and Principal. I loved the years I spent in education.

❤️ Milestone Reflections:  Milestone years can bring up several different emotions. How did you feel at your last milestone birthday? What is your best advice for other women who are coming up on a milestone birthday?

Well, my best advice is to surround yourself with good people, stay active in body and mind, keep setting goals, and always find time for the people who are important to you.

❤️ Blessings of a Lifetime:  What positives have come from being at this stage of your life?

I have seen my children grow up, stumble, pick themselves up and become wonderful parents, self sufficient humans with loving partners. I have a husband who still loves me after being in my world for 58 years. I still have lifetime friends. I am very blessed.

❤️ Hope for the Future:  What do you hope for the future generations of women?

I hope future generations of women can continue to make our world a more peaceful place to live. As women we should be the catalyst for change that supports all people in their lives to become good citizens of earth. We need women who are both strong and intelligent in places of power to be able to make those positive changes.

In conclusion, this journey through the lens of this beautiful lady is a celebration of her life filled with love, passion, and a commitment to making the world a better place. Here's to the art of living and the stories we weave in each frame! 🌟
